Newsletter: A simple video tactic that college coaches will love you for
Why is no one else doing this?
Yo -
Want coaches to love you?
Do this.
When you have a video that’s longer than 30 seconds, put a time stamp on the video to let the coach know where the action takes place.
Time stamp
A time stamp looks like this:
video link (action at 1:03)
Why this is important
Ideally, your videos are less than 30 seconds.
But if you want to send a longer video, this is an easy way to cater to a coach. If he wants to watch the whole thing, he can. If he wants to skip to the action, he can.
By adding a time stamp, you’ve made his life easier.
He’s more likely to watch your videos.
And he’s more likely to recruit you.
Add a time stamp to both the links in your emails and the description of the video on YouTube.
Coaches will love you for this.
