The #1 Metric to Focus On

It might surprise you.

Hey, it’s Jack.

Want 5x more interest from college coaches?

Focus on one metric: Impressions

What is an Impression?

An impression is any time a coach watches your kid play.

(This includes in-person and video)

How to use impressions to get more interest

We break impressions down into two categories.

  1. Total impressions — # of coaches that see your kid play

  2. Impressions per coach — # of times each coach sees your kid play

The goal is to get as many impressions as possible.

More impressions = More interest

How do you get more impressions?

Most people think the answer is showcases.

But think about it…

If there are 20 coaches at a showcase, you only get 20 impressions.

To get more, you’d have to go to another showcase.

That’s not very many impressions for the amount of time & money you spent.

Compare that to email.

With email, we aim to get anywhere from 6-12 impressions per coach with just our initial email sequence. That doesn’t include showcases, follow ups, or any other interactions.

We want our impression count per athlete as high as possible.

And that’s part of the reason we drive the interest that we do.
